First Visit
Welcome! During your first appointment a Detailed Exam will be completed before your first acupuncture session. This covers all the initial paperwork, including a detailed intake, and addresses any questions that you have before your first treatment. This provides us with the ability to personalize your treatment and giving an individualized approach to better address your specific needs.

Tui Na
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) therapeutic massage and body work. It is used as a treatment to address specific patterns of disharmony by manually moving parts of the body or focusing on specific points to restore well-being.
E-stim
Leads are attached to the needles and put out micro-currents through the needles to provide more stimulation of certain areas to break up fibrous tissue and increase circulation.
Gua Sha
This modality uses a tool to apply pressure and scrape the skin to relieve pain and tension to the underlying fascia.
Cupping
A therapy used in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) to remove stagnation and stimulate circulation.
Moxa
An herb burned in various ways to warm regions and meridian points with the intention of stimulating circulation through the points and treating 'cold' diseases.
